chinese center for disease control and prevention (china cdc) is a nonprofit institution working in the fields of disease control and prevention, public health management and provision of service.
china cdc is committed to strengthen research on strategies and measures for disease control and prevention; organizes and implements control and prevention plans for different kinds of diseases; carries out public health management for food safety, occupational health, health related product safety, radiation health, environmental health, health care for women and children, among others; conducts applied scientific research; provides technical guidance, staff training and quality control for disease control and prevention and public health services throughout the country; acts as national working group for diseases prevention, emergency relief, and construction of public health information systems.
2004, bioer established the cooperation with the prevention and control of infectious diseases station of cdc in the field of life sciences. both sides have jointly established a demonstration pcr laboratory. station deputy, professor jianzhong zhang, gave full affirmation and high appraisal to the products of bioer.

clinical testing center of gansu province (located in gansu provincial people's hospital) was founded in 1983, which now takes charge the clinical laboratory quality control, also with responsibility for personnel training and operational guidelines of medical research and teaching institutions of gansu province. ?clinical testing center of gansu province has 5 special laboratories: clinical chemistry lab, clinical immunology lab, blood and body fluid lab, clinical microbiology lab, and the molecule biology lab.

life science college, fudan university, founded in 1986, is the first life sciences college in china, and the base of state biology research and teaching training. college has 220 members, includes 39 professors, 47 associate professors, 13 senior teachers with a series of non-title, 2 academicians with the chinese academy of sciences, 4 chair professors of education (professor), 3 chair professors of fudan university and 37 supervisors.
2004, bioer established the long-term cooperative relations with the biochemistry department, belonged by life sciences college, bioer equipments be fully used in biological research. after our instruments put in use, the major of biochemistry department, professor weida huang and related staff gave us lots of valuable ideas and suggestions which helped to improve equipment performance and adjust the research and development direction.

south china agricultural university life science college, which used to be biotechnology institute, which was incorporated by agricultural biotechnology department, genetic engineering research lab and testing center in 1996, and renamed as life sciences college in august 2001.
college is famous in the areas with plant genomics and genetic engineering, molecular biology and physiology of plant resistance, structural botany, plant enzyme engineering, plant phylogeny.
