biozol reagent is a ready-to-use reagent for the isolation of total rna from animal, plant tissue or bacterium. the operation of the kit is very simple and user can extract several samples simultaneously.
first, add the sample into biozol solution to lyses completely.
second, add chloroform into the solution and concentrate the sample tube. the homogenate will be separate and form three phases: upper phase (aqueous phase), interphase, and nether phase (organic phase). rna which remains exclusively in the aqueous phase is recovered by precipitation with isopropyl alcohol.
the total rna isolated by biozol reagent is free of protein and dna contamination. it can be used for northern blot analysis, dot blot hybridization, poly (a) +selection, in vitro translation, rnase protection assay, rt-pcr assay, cdna library building and other rna researchs.
