red blood cell lysis buffer was developed to lyse red blood cells from human whole blood. the buffer provides a very simple, fast economic way to isolate white blood cells from whole blood without destroying the white blood cells. in general, with the buffer, you can get 80% or more white blood cells from the sample.

procedure

application
red blood cell lysis buffer can be used to lyse red blood cells from 1μl~10ml human whole blood and the yielded intact white blood cells are good for future use.
to get better dna effects, please use fresh blood or the blood stored within seven days. if there are blood clots, please get rid of them. it is highly recommended to use anticoagulant tube to collect blood samples.
this buffer is not intended to get wbc from the whole bloods in animal’s species.
