This kit was designed to detect the relatively conserved region of Hepatitis A virus genome respectively by specific primers and fluorescent probes and performs rapid qualitative detection of the virus RNA by RT-qPCR after the nucleic acid extraction process. In the extraction and detection process, Exogenous plasmid was introduced as a non-competitive internal control to monitor the whole extraction and detection process.
The kit was used for qualitative detection of hepatitis A virus in whole blood and feces of suspected cases. The test can be used as an auxiliary diagnosis of hepatitis A virus infection and should not be used as the only basis for clinical diagnosis, treatment or management of patients.
